Upcoming Fortex Media Industry Events and PR Roundtables

It may be summer but we have a number of events and roundtables coming up to drive business development, discussion and create new public relations opportunities.  You can see the calendar at the right but here's a quick summary.

Stamford PR Roundtable: From Corporate Comm to Corporate Media  (July 22 - private)  - This roundtable of senior corporate, agency and media executives will look at how PR departments are transitioning to using more media and publishing strategies as opposed to focusing primarily on communicating via third parties. We’ll discuss how the communications departments are hiring editors, launching media properties, building reach and circulation while aligning these media strategies with the more traditional (and still vitally important) outreach to news influential.

Digital Music NY (July 27 - click here for information) - Our July Digital Music NY event series will look at some of the latest technologies and management trends in the music industry.

The Media Syndication Strategy Roundtable (early August - invite only) - This roundtable of publishing, communications, digital media and research executives will look at the new syndication  strategies emerging in a four screen screen environment where people are increasing discovering content not only through programing, but through search discovering and viral social media networks.

Digital Music LA (August 5 - click here for information) - Our next Los Angeles based digital music event series will take a look at the many different products and services artists are using to build fan bases and sell music.
