MXP4 at Midem Discusses Social Music Games and Pump It!'s Success

MXP4 recently announced that their first social music game, Pump It!, has exceened the 1 million active user mark with major artists like David Guetta and Cheryl Cole signing on.   The Inside Facebook new site said that "Pump It offers much more intimate engagement with a song than traditional streaming or downloading....other promotions which aren’t interactive don’t always make a strong enough impression for users to want to buy a song or hear it again" whileTechrunch pointed out that "it’s becoming more and more obvious that MXP4 is actively going after the social music gaming space."   You can try the Cheryl Cole version here and read the original news release here.  Watch videos from Midem including interviews with David Guetta after the jump.
